Planning a wedding should be exciting, but for my husband and I, it was one of the most overwhelming experiences of our lives. Born and raised in India, I moved to the U.S. when I was 16—a transition that came with its own cultural shocks and adjustments. I went on to college, met some of the most amazing lifelong friends, and pursued a degree in accounting, eventually earning my CPA and building my career in corporate America. But no matter where life took me, the desire to stay connected to India and give back to my community was always there—I just didn’t know how.

That changed when I started planning my own wedding. I thought I had a head start—fluent in Hindi, deeply familiar with Indian culture, and confident in navigating both worlds. Yet, planning a wedding in India from the U.S. was one of the hardest things I had ever done. I managed to pull it all together in less than eight months, and when I finally saw all my family and friends under one roof, it was a dream come true. Those three days were the best of my life. But getting there? The road was unnecessarily hard.

That’s why I created Knot So Shaadi—to take those struggles and turn them into solutions. My goal is to help couples plan seamlessly, bridging the gap between two worlds and making the process stress-free, organized, and enjoyable. Whether it's coordinating vendors, handling cultural nuances, or simply making sure things get done the right way, my team is here to ensure your wedding is everything you envisioned—without the chaos.

One of our friends once said, a wedding is the only time you’re at a party where you know every single person in the room. That resonated with me deeply. It’s easy to focus on the logistics and forget what a wedding truly is—a once-in-a-lifetime experience where every single person there is someone who has been part of your journey. It’s not just an event; it’s a collection of moments, emotions, and connections that will stay with you forever. That’s what I’m passionate about—creating not just a seamless wedding, but an unforgettable experience that brings our two homes together in a way that feels meaningful and true to you.

Based in New York City, with a team rooted in New Delhi, I’m dedicated to helping couples based in the US and around the world plan their destination wedding in India with ease, elegance, and joy.
